Work at Height Training: Supervisor
Work at Height Training: Supervisor - RSTC-401
This work at height supervisor training is designed for those responsible for planning, supervising or managing work at height activities, without necessarily carrying out the work themselves.
The course focuses on understanding legal duties, recognising work at height activities, and ensuring that safe systems of work are in place and followed.
Why Work at Height Supervisor Training Is Important
Many working at height incidents occur not because of equipment failure, but due to:
- Poor planning
- Inadequate supervision
- Unsuitable risk assessments
- Lack of understanding of legal responsibilities
Under the Work at Height Regulations 2005, employers must ensure that work at height is properly planned and supervised by competent persons. This course ensures supervisors and managers understand what “good work at height management” looks like in practice.
