Respiratory protection

Our experience gained supplying FFP2 and Type 2R face masks during the pandemic has taught us many things. We are building our range of respiratory protection for those customers needing such protection and this now also includes the specialist Airfed Welding respiratory protection need to combat the hazards of carcinogenic welding fumes.
As of February 2019, any worker or any who undertakes welding activities in any industry must be protected against welding fumes. The HSE has now strengthened their enforcement expectation for all welding fume, including mild steel welding; because general ventilation does not achieve the necessary control.
